Our Story

Chef Tosh, named after the legendary reggae musician Peter Tosh grew up in New York City in the 90s. Visiting family in Jamaica on his mother’s side, Renee Cox, Tosh loved patties ever since he was a child. After studying hospitality management and completing his culinary degree, he worked in New York’s high end hospitality industry.

In 2023, after many discussions with his mother about how it can be really hard to find high quality patties in the city, he decided to take it upon himself to bring his families recipes to life.

Chef Tosh invited his good friend, Chef Dan, old industry friends to help him achieve his goals of bringing high quality patties to the city.

Innovate the Jamaican patty space with creative options, high quality fillings, and unique croissant style puff pastry dough. Disrupting the old low quality options in the frozen retail segment.

1. Disrupting the frozen isle selections of Jamaican Patties.

2. Position ourselves as one of the top producers in the space.

3. Bring Jamaican food culture to NY and beyond.
